John Waterman is a trainer, writer and project manager based in London. After studying English and American Literature John’s interest in languages and culture took him to Spain where he stayed for 13 years. During this time he worked as a teacher of general and business English before starting his language school. On his return to London he became a lecturer at Thames Valley University where he specialised in teacher training, intercultural communications and pronunciation skills. He designed, developed and delivered intercultural communication courses for the Council of Europe. Later John moved into the world of publishing and worked in Latin America, Europe and South East Asia. For the past four years John has pursued his career as a freelance trainer, writer, project manager and consultant. He has written four books on the subject of learning English. John speaks English, Spanish and German.
Andrew Weale is a writer, trainer and actor based in London. After studying
Classics at Oxford University he trained at the London Academy of Music and
Dramatic Art. He has worked with luminaries such as Sir Alec Guinness and
Kevin Spacey, and spent three years playing leading roles in musical theatre
in Germany (where he co-starred with Dirk Bach). As a teacher specialising
in business English he has taught executives, business managers, engineers,
lawyers, politicians and architects. Because of his background in performance
Andrew has specialised in pronunciation and presentation skills and knows
a trick or two about body language and voice projection. He has edited two
theatre books and his first children's book is currently being considered
for publication. Andrew speaks English and German.
